A wonderfully rustic handmade pottery sheep ornament with pressed folk-art decoration, an intentionally irregular silhouette and a bright red ribbon hanger. The rough clay surface and hand-shaped details give it much more character than a factory-made ornament.

Measures approximately 5” across. Made from an unglazed reddish-brown clay or pottery body with impressed decorative details. Maker and exact age are unknown.

Preowned handmade condition with natural irregularities, surface variation, small firing imperfections and age wear consistent with artisan pottery. No maker mark found.
