Beautiful vintage Dutch wool blanket/throw made by Van Wijk of Leiden, Holland, and originally produced for Marshall Field & Company of Chicago.

The blanket features a striking mid-century/retro abstract stripe design in rich shades of burnt orange, coral, raspberry, burgundy, magenta and purple. The organic, irregular horizontal bands give it a wonderful vintage modernist appearance that works beautifully with mid-century modern, Scandinavian, eclectic, retro or contemporary décor.
