For sale are two 1970s battery operated working robots.  Both robots use two “C” batteries (not included).  These robots are considered to be adult/collector antique or vintage items.  Both robot feature intricate detailing and are collectible items for enthusiasts of vintage robots.  With their bright colors and distinctive designs, they offer nostalgic pieces of retro craftsmanship for fans of classic toys and robots.

One or both robot(s) have surface wear, marks, nicks, scuffs, tarnish, dust, etc.  The battery compartments are generally clean, and electricity connectivity has been tested and confirmed.  The battery compartments have tarnish and may have minor corrosion on the contacts and perhaps the "on/off" levers.  While the power turns on, the mechanical movements may be somewhat awkward, stiff, and not completely smooth due to their vintage age.  Please make sure to closely check the attached video to verify the exact pace, mechanical style, and current running condition before purchasing.

The Karate Robot is a vintage battery-operated working toy from Japan, manufactured by TOMY in the 1970s.  The Karate Robot is a vintage toy designed with a martial arts theme and spinning arms meant to simulate a fighting action.  The robot walks forward while its arms spin around.  Its description states the spinning arms are meant "to fight the opponent".  It also features an acrobatic self-righting action; if it falls the spinning arms help it stand back up.  The "S" on the chest stands for "Super Robot Giant Slalom".

The Acrobatic Robot is also a vintage battery-operated working toy from Japan, manufactured by Horikawa in the 1970s or early 1980s.  The Acrobatic Robot is marked “SH” and “Made in Japan".  The robot walks forward while its arms spin around.  It also features an acrobatic self-righting action; if it falls the spinning arms help it stand back up.  The eyes also light up.  The robot works but it is very noisy.
