The gasoline lighter of a Kaiser's soldier in the WWI. Brass.
The front side features the emblem of the German military organization Freikorps from 1919 (see the last four photos for examples of such emblems).
This design is quite rare. I've only ever come across a lighter like this once.
Spark shoots out. There's a wick. Everything works perfectly. No cracks or chips.
Trench Art. The screw cap is made from a bronze bullet of the Lebel system 1915 (I found examples of the same bullets with similar
markings on the Internet, see the last two pictures).
Such lighters were carried by soldiers of the Kaiser's troops during the First World War.
