Charming set of four small vintage Arabia Finland porcelain/ceramic plates, each decorated with a different hand-painted scene in soft gray, brown and black tones on a glossy white ground.

Each plate has its own miniature landscape, including:

Rustic church surrounded by trees

Sailboat with waterfront buildings

River or harbor scene with boats and buildings

Rural village scene with traditional houses

The loose watercolor-like brushwork gives each little scene its own character while the muted monochromatic palette ties the four pieces together beautifully.

Each plate measures approximately 3 1/4 inches in diameter.

All are factory marked on the reverse with the Arabia crown logo, ARABIA, MADE IN FINLAND. The plates also have individual hand-applied decorator/painter marks. Visible initials include SJ, HT and UK; markings vary by plate.
