Condition Details: Antique stick pin shows expected age-related wear consistent with a handmade taxidermy-style piece. The bone fox head remains intact with glass eyes present, gold-tipped ears show some wear to the plating, and the pin shaft is straight and functional. Original box with handwritten label included, though the box itself shows some age wear. Overall a well-preserved example of its type.

Antique novelty stick pin in the form of a fox head, carved from bone with a home-made backbone construction as noted on the original box. Features gold-tipped ears and glass eyes with a distinctive yellow and black colouring. The pin is made from a twisted gold-tone metal shaft. According to the handwritten note on the original box lid, this piece was crafted from the wishbone of the seller's father's pet fox, with gold-tipped ears. Comes with its original cream box lined with cotton wool padding, bearing the handwritten inscription describing the item's provenance. A curious piece of Victorian or Edwardian folk taxidermy jewellery.
