Vintage 3-piece handmade wooden toy train set featuring a military-style cannon/artillery car, red caboose-style car, and green flatcar.

The set has a great primitive folk-art look with simple hand-cut wooden construction, wooden wheels, peg-and-hole style couplers, and painted red/green finishes. The cannon car is especially eye-catching, with a rotating turret and long barrel. It shows substantial paint wear and age-related patina that gives it a strong vintage character.

The green flatcar has two upright wooden pegs and may originally have held a removable load or accessory. The red car has two round window openings and a raised roof section. An older $45.00 dealer/retail price sticker remains attached to the red car and has been left in place as found.
