Indian Steel Delegation’s report on China’s iron and steel industry

 The Government of India sent an official steel industry delegation to the People’s Republic of China to study China’s iron and steel industry, with particular emphasis on production methods, role of small units, and applicability of Chinese experience to India’s own steel plans. The delegation included officials and technical experts from India’s Ministry of Steel, National Metallurgical Laboratory, and engineering consultancies.
