Sunrain JA010 Mazona Olympus Baffle Throat Plate High Quality Casting

Replace a cracked or corroded throat plate with this Sunrain JA010 Baffle Plate, made from high-quality cast iron. This 3.5kg non-original replacement is designed to fit the JA010 and the compatible stoves listed below, giving you a well-made replacement for the plate above the fire.

The baffle sits across the top of the firebox, where it slows the passage of flue gases and helps retain heat inside the stove. It is also known as a throat plate. Exposure to intense heat can cause the plate to crack or corrode over time. Checking its condition during stove maintenance helps you identify when the existing plate needs replacing.
