This is a rare hardcover copy (with dustjacket) of Hank Searls' "Jaws 2," the 1978 sequel to Peter Benchley's classic thriller. This novel was based on Howard Sackler's screenplay for the film "Jaws 2," but if you've read this far you probably know that already.

There are not many hardcover copies of this novel out there, and fewer still with dust jackets. This is a solid reading copy - it’s not perfect (see detailed description and photos), but overall it’s a nicely well-preserved copy which you don’t have to feel bad about actually reading. The artwork on the front cover is still vivid and undamaged. The binding is strong, and the pages are clean and dry. There are no names written in it, no stamps, etc.

It has been protected with a brand new Mylar cover which you can keep or remove as suits your preference (removal is very easy).

Again, this is NOT a perfectly pristine copy, mostly due to slight wear on the dust jacket edges, some yellowing/discoloration from age on the dust jacket, and light foxing on the page stack, but it has zero signs of misuse or mishandling. It's just 48 years old.

I would really like it if this went to a true fan of the Jaws series; it deserves to be on the shelf of someone who will really enjoy and appreciate it. If you already own Peter Benchley's "Jaws" in hardcover, this would be a great way to complete your collection.
