Handmade Studio Art Pottery Mushroom Mug – Signed – Sculptural Woodland Design

Wonderful one-of-a-kind studio pottery mug featuring a dimensional mushroom motif and unusual sculptural handle.

The mug is made from reddish-brown clay with a mottled charcoal/blue-gray glaze. The front features an applied round terracotta medallion impressed with three mushrooms, while the handle is embellished with dimensional vine/leaf-like forms that give the piece a wonderfully organic woodland appearance.

The underside is unglazed and bears an incised artist's monogram/signature. The maker has not been identified.

A particularly appealing piece for a studio pottery collection or anyone who loves mushroom, woodland, cottagecore or nature-inspired decor.
