This listing is for a lot of 12 I Love Lucy and Lucille Ball collector dolls, primarily produced by Mattel as part of its Barbie Collector series. The collection features Lucy Ricardo in costumes inspired by memorable episodes of the classic television series, along with an Ethel Mertz doll and a 14-inch Lucille Ball collector doll by Hamilton Gifts.
Featured episodes include “Lucy Does a TV Commercial,” “Job Switching,” “The Operetta,” “The Audition,” “Sales Resistance,” “L.A. at Last!,” “Lucy Gets in Pictures,” “Lucy Tells the Truth,” and “Lucy and Ethel Buy the Same Dress.”
The lot also includes nine plastic display bases, a miniature cello and chair, a metal doll stand, and a bag containing assorted shoes and accessories. This is a varied collection suitable for an I Love Lucy fan, Lucille Ball collector, Barbie collector, television memorabilia collection, restoration project, or doll display.
Condition:
Preowned collectible condition with varying wear from age, previous display, handling, and storage. The dolls and clothing have not been cleaned and some pieces need washing. Condition issues include stains, discoloration, marks on faces and clothing, missing shoes, missing props, fabric wear, and possible dust or storage residue. Several dolls are incomplete.
The 1988 Hamilton Gifts doll retains its attached tag and includes a metal stand; the tag is discolored and the dress has marks. The 2009 “Lucy Tells the Truth” doll remains attached to its cardboard backing but has been removed from the original box. Nine plastic display bases, a cello with chair, and a bag of assorted accessories and shoes are included. Accessories have not been individually matched to the dolls, and completeness is not guaranteed.
Please review all photos carefully for the exact condition of each doll, clothing, hair, faces, accessories, missing pieces, and everything included.
