Vintage Puritan No. 8 Cast Iron Skillet (Pattern 8D)

This piece was likely cast by the Favorite Stove & Range Co., identifiable by the handle design and "8 D" marking. It is another highly collectible and usable piece of culinary history from Maine Coast Market.

• Condition: This skillet has been meticulously restored down to the bare metal using a lye bath and vinegar to completely eliminate rust and carbon. It has been seasoned with 3 careful coats of Crisco, leaving an incredibly smooth and clean cooking surface. Best of all, it sits perfectly flat on a level surface with zero wobble.
