Each battery is a 4276mAh 4S Li-ion pack rated for up to 45 minutes of flight on the Air 3S (slightly less on Air 3). The hub expands one USB-C input into three battery bays and introduces Power Accumulation — it can shuffle leftover energy from partially-used cells into the highest-charged battery, squeezing extra flight time out of mixed-charge packs. When plugged into a DJI 100W USB-C brick, it sequentially fast-charges all three bays, prioritizing the ones closest to full; a full charge takes ～60 minutes per battery. The hub also doubles as an 82W power bank to top up your RC, phone, or other gear in the field.

Power accumulation trick: After a shoot, pop all 3 batteries (2 from kit + 1 from drone) into the hub — it will top the highest one first using the others' leftovers, giving you one ready-to-fly pack faster than charging from zero.

Fastest turnaround: Use the DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter — 60min per battery vs 80min on 65W.

Off-State QuickTransfer: With Air 3S, you can pull footage to your phone via USB-C even with the drone powered off — handy when you don't want to boot the aircraft.

Storage: If storing >10 days, leave batteries at ～40–60%; the hub's accumulation feature can help balance packs before storage.

Cold weather: Warm batteries to >5°C before charging; cold Li-ion won't accept full current and triggers protection.

⚠️ Important Notes

Air 3 / Air 3S only — these 14.76V 4S packs are NOT cross-compatible with Air 2S (11.55V 3S), Mavic 3 (15.4V), or Mini-series (7.38V). Forcing a wrong battery can damage the drone or battery.

Charger not in box — base kit is 2× battery + hub only; add DJI 100W USB-C for fastest charge.

82W is hub output, not battery output — the hub can power devices, but the batteries themselves only power the drone.

Power accumulation drains donors — the hub moves charge from lower batteries to the highest one; donor batteries end up at very low levels, so don't rely on them for immediate flight.

45min is max lab figure — real flights with wind, 4K/60, HDR, or heavy payloads see 32–38min.
