1984 Press Photo Jim Hartley With Hex House He Built And 1,000-Day Clock

This is an original press photo. Jim Hartley poses with the Hex House that he built in his backyard. It is made of mostly scrap metal that cost him nothing. The shingles and nails ran his construction costs to $64. At right, Hartley calls this his, 1,000-day clock "because that's how long it takes to make one." Photo measures 10.25 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 05-07-1984.
