Vintage Walk-A-Matic mechanical pedometer with its original orange box and instruction sheet.

This fun old-school walking accessory measures distance in miles using four number wheels on the front dial. The round silver-tone case has a red and white face marked “MILES” and “WALK-A-MATIC,” with a belt clip on the back.

The pedometer measures approximately 2.75" x 2.75".

Marked Japan on the back.

Includes the vintage Walk-A-Matic box and original instructions shown in the photos. Similar Walk-A-Matic examples date from the mid-to-late 20th century, although an exact production year for this example has not been confirmed.

Condition

• As found vintage condition with expected age and storage wear. 
• Pedometer has scratches, scuffs and surface wear. 
• Box shows edge wear, corner wear, creasing, rubbing and other age-related wear. 
• Instructions show toning, folds and handling wear. 
• Untested for accuracy or function and sold as a vintage collectible.
