Spotmatic Case & Strap
An original Asahi Pentax leather ever-ready case with the crown-and-eye emblem, paired with an Asahi Pentax leather neck strap from the M42 Spotmatic era. A zippered Asahi Opt. Co. lens case is included as a bonus. No camera, lens or body cap is included.

This is the fitted, two-piece ever-ready case Asahi Pentax made for its Spotmatic cameras. The base holds the camera, and the lid, which carries the metal crown-and-eye emblem, fastens to the base with two snaps at the back. The front cover is embossed PENTAX, the back is embossed JAPAN, and the inside is lined in navy.
We checked the case on our own Spotmatic F before listing. The strap is an Asahi Pentax leather neck strap from the same M42 era, with ASAHI PENTAX and MADE IN JAPAN moulded into the non-slip shoulder pad; its two triangular split rings are already fitted, so it is ready to go straight onto the camera lugs.
