1996 Pokémon Japanese Base Set – Squirtle No.007
No Rarity Symbol / Original First Print
A genuine vintage Japanese Squirtle (ゼニガメ) No.007 from the original 1996 Pokémon Card Game Base Set.
This card is the highly collectible No Rarity Symbol version, identifiable by the absence of the rarity symbol in the lower-right area of the card.
These No Rarity Symbol cards are associated with the earliest Japanese Base Set printings, making them especially desirable to collectors interested in the origins of the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
The artwork was illustrated by legendary Pokémon artist Mitsuhiro Arita, whose work appeared throughout the earliest era of the Pokémon Card Game.
For collectors of original Japanese Pokémon cards, this is a beautiful piece from Pokémon TCG history dating back to 1996.

🔍 Condition
EX- (Excellent-)
The condition has been evaluated conservatively based on eBay’s official trading card condition guidelines.
The card remains clean and visually appealing overall, with relatively light signs of handling and age on both the front and back.
There is some minor surface wear, fine scratches/hairlines, and light wear along the edges and corners. The most noticeable flaw is a distinct scratch/line on the lower area of the back, which can be difficult to see in straight-on photos. A separate close-up image has been included specifically to show this area clearly.
Aside from this point, no other major scratches, creases, bends, or significant damage were observed, and the overall presentation remains quite clean for a vintage card.
Considering the visible wear and the noted scratch, we have conservatively classified this card as EX- (Excellent-).
Please carefully review all photos, especially the “Points to Check” image, for the exact condition.
