THE HAND OF ZEI and THE SEARCH FOR ZEI by L. SPRAGUE DE CAMP. Ace Double 249, 1963. First edition as such. This was serialized in ASTOUNDING in 1950 as THE HAND OF ZEI, then broken into two volumes by the Thomas Bouregy Co. in 1962 for hardcover publication, with textual modifications to give the first volume an ending. This is the first combined edition.

Sword & planet adventure set on the planet Krishna. It was de Camp's avowed purpose to create something like Edgar Rice Burroughs's Barsoom series, only more logical and scientifically plausible. Written, as always, with verve and wit.

Always happy to combine shipments on multiple wins.
