This plant originates from material obtained from Far Reaches Farm and has been maintained as part of our nursery collection.
The Far Reaches provenance is included because it is part of the known history of this accession.
This plant will be removed from its growing container and shipped bare root.
Roots will be prepared and packed to help retain appropriate moisture during transit while minimizing unnecessary soil weight and mess.
Some temporary wilting, leaf movement, or cosmetic stress may occur after bare-rooting and shipping. This is normal for many herbaceous perennials and does not necessarily indicate a problem with the root system.
Upon arrival, pot promptly into a well-draining, moisture-retentive growing medium and water thoroughly. Keep the plant in bright filtered light or partial shade while it re-establishes.
Light: Partial shade to bright filtered light.
Water: Keep evenly moist while actively growing, but provide good drainage.
Growing Medium: Rich, well-draining soil or potting mix with good organic content.
Growth Habit: Herbaceous perennial with upright to arching stems.
Dormancy: Seasonal dieback can occur during winter dormancy, with growth resuming from the root system when conditions improve.
3 business day handling time.
Plants are carefully inspected and prepared before shipment.
Please consider local weather conditions when ordering. Extreme heat, cold, carrier handling, and carrier delays are outside our control once the package is in transit.
