A striking set of five La Verrerie de Biot liquor pomponnettes, handmade in France from pale blue bubbled glass.

Each glass has the distinctive footless conical shape and applied rounded end associated with Biot’s pomponnette design. Intended for serving liqueurs or digestifs, these unusual glasses are held in the hand while drinking rather than placed upright.

The subtle differences in dimensions, weight and bubble distribution are characteristic of individual mouth-blown production.
