The condition has been evaluated conservatively based on eBay’s official trading card condition guidelines.
Considering the age of this vintage Japanese Pokémon card, it remains in relatively nice overall condition. Both the front and back show some surface scratches and fine hairlines from age and previous handling, but they are relatively limited and the card still presents well overall.
There is a pressure impression / indentation near the lower-left area of the front, appearing as though something may have pressed against and dragged slightly across the surface. This flaw can be difficult to see when viewing the card straight on, so a dedicated “Points to Check” photo taken under angled lighting has been included to make it easier to identify.
The reverse also shows visible edge and corner whitening/wear, particularly around portions of the outer border.
Taking the surface wear, edge wear, and localized pressure impression into account, we have conservatively classified this card as MP (Moderately Played) rather than placing it in the EX range.
