🔍 Product Overview
The LANRUI V587 Engineering Box is a pocket-sized mobile-repair switch tool. It replicates the bottom-layer USB handshake that lets a technician put an iPhone into DFU or Recovery, and a Samsung phone into Download (Odin) mode — without pressing hardware buttons or opening the phone. Auto mode detects Apple vs Samsung when plugged in; manual mode uses the center button to switch functions. Once connected to a PC + iTunes / Finder / Odin / 3uTools / Aisi, the device stays plugged in while you toggle modes, so flashing, unbricking, and system restore become much faster. At 6.6g and 58mm long, it lives in any repair bench drawer.
✨ Key Features
-
🍎 One-Click Apple Modes: DFU + Recovery for Lightning iPhone/iPad; exit DFU by one-click restart.
-
🤖 One-Click Samsung Download: Galaxy S/Note/Z/A enters Odin mode with phone off — no volume/power finger gymnastics.
-
🔌 Dual-Head Design: Lightning + Type-C in one body; auto-identifies Apple or Samsung.
-
🔁 No Re-Plug Loop: Switch DFU ↔ Recovery ↔ Restart while staying connected to the computer.
-
🔘 Auto + Manual: Lights cycle = auto-detect; long-press center button = execute selected mode (~2s).
-
🪶 Bench Pocket Size: 23 × 12 × 58 mm, 6.6g — built for phone-repair shops and flip-techs.

💡 Usage Tips
-
iPhone DFU: Connect to PC → select DFU → long-press center button ~2s → screen stays black → PC tool shows DFU device.
-
iPhone Recovery: Same flow, select Recovery; Apple logo + cable icon appears on screen.
-
Exit Apple modes: Switch to “one-click restart” → long-press ~2s → device boots normally.
-
Samsung Odin: Power the Galaxy off → select Download mode → plug in → “Downloading…” screen appears; exit by holding Power + Vol keys manually.
⚠️ Important Notes
-
Repair tool, not a charger — it manipulates USB signaling; don’t market it as a normal data cable.
-
iPhone 15/16 are USB-C — V587’s Lightning head won’t fit them; Type-C side may reboot but DFU behavior is not the same as Lightning generation.
-
Samsung exit is manual — long-press Power + Vol to leave Download mode; the box won’t auto-exit Odin.
-
Cable quality matters — use a good MFi/USB-IF host cable; cheap cables break device enumeration.
-
New-model lag — latest iOS/Samsung firmware may need updated workflow; verify before mission-critical unbrick jobs.
