The lot includes The Naval War Against Hitler by Donald Macintyre, an account of the Allied naval struggle against Nazi Germany; Typhoon of Steel: The Battle for Okinawa by James H. Belote and William M. Belote, a history of the costly Pacific campaign; and Montgomery as Military Commander by Ronald Lewin, a study of British Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery’s leadership and wartime career.

All three are Book Club Edition hardcovers with their original illustrated dust jackets protected in clear plastic covers.

The books show general age and handling wear. The Naval War Against Hitler and Typhoon of Steel have areas of surface loss and paper residue on their half-title pages. Montgomery as Military Commander contains a previous owner’s illustrated bookplate with a handwritten name. The jackets show rubbing, edge wear, and age-related discoloration beneath the protective covers.
