Alexis was a Greek artist who was best known for his seascape and nautical paintings and his paintings have sold in Galleries throughout the U.S. and Europe.


The painting depicts a nautical scene with a ship at anchor, and is made on a small wooden board which appears to have canvas fine grain tooth to the surface.
