Lovely hand carved Mexican rosewood owl by master carver John Fox. Owls are very desirable, as John had to find the right piece of wood and carve this so the natural knots and grain of the wood make the eyes and beak. Measures approx 8 cm high x 4.5 cm wide x 3 cm deep.  Perfect condition. This is carved in a beautiful single piece of dark Mexican rosewood which has an amazing grain and glossy sheen and this one has three different tones as I’ve tried to photo.  Lovely unusual piece.
