Storyline Synopsis

Showcase Presents: Eclipso chronicles the tragic and bizarre curse of Dr. Bruce Gordon, a brilliant young solar scientist. While on a research expedition to the South Pacific, Gordon is attacked by a tribal sorcerer and exposed to a mystical black diamond.

As a result, Gordon’s psyche splits into two entirely separate entities. Whenever a solar eclipse occurs—or any event that mimics an eclipse, such as a heavy shadow or darkness—his malicious dark side is unleashed. He transforms into Eclipso, a powerful, blue-faced supervillain armed with a deadly sun-seeking energy blast.

While Eclipso embarks on calculated paths of global destruction, Gordon's heroic side desperately fights to reassert control. Alongside his fiancé Mona Bennett and her father Professor Bennett, Bruce Gordon must find a way to contain the villain inside him while evading both Eclipso's wrath and the authorities.
