Beautiful Rococo or Baroque clock by Richard & Co and Japoy Freres

However it looks like this clock movement was awarded a price founded by Japoy Freres and rights to stamp the movements with this medal so this is Richard and Co or Richard and Cie clock also very well known French clockmaker selling its clock in London and Paris

This exquisite clock has been dismantled and ultrasonic cleaned movement has been oiled.

Also please note three digits are missing in the dial they can be replaced with similar ones by simply glue them to the dial

Movement signed by Richard & Co and stamped with happy Freres reward mark .

The clock is made of alabaster and Ormulu

Overall very good condition for its age and quality of this clock speak for its self however putto has some patina

The clock striking number of hours at the full hour and once at the passing half hour on the bell
