Vintage Hitachi TRK-6800E 4 Band Stereo Portable Radio Cassette Recorder with classic early 1980s boombox styling.
Tested on mains power and working.
The radio has been tested and is receiving stations, and the cassette player has been tested with a cassette and is playing correctly. Please see the included video showing the unit operating.
Features include:
The telescopic aerial is complete and extends correctly.
The battery compartment is exceptionally clean for its age. Battery operation has not been tested — the unit has only been tested using mains power.
In very good overall cosmetic condition for its age, with some light age/use-related marks as visible in the photographs. Controls, buttons, speaker grilles and handle all present very well.
A particularly attractive example of Hitachi's early portable stereo radio cassette recorders and a great piece of vintage audio/boombox equipment.
