Genuine Yamaha Y’S GEAR Quick Shifter Kit for compatible Yamaha MT-09 Tracer, TRACER 900, and XSR900 models.

This system allows quick upshifting without closing the throttle or operating the clutch when the required operating conditions are met.

Quick Shift System

The QSS detects an upshift operation and momentarily adjusts engine output through the ECU, reducing drivetrain torque to support smooth and quick gear changes.

Operating conditions:

• Vehicle speed: 20 km/h or higher

• Engine speed: 2,300 rpm or higher

• Motorcycle must be accelerating

• Shift-up operation only

• Quick downshifting is not supported

• The system does not operate while the clutch lever is engaged
