This material was found down in South Ayrshire in the last year. I can tell by the bad saw mark that I cut this from another, bigger rock. It has been polished in the tumbler and has taken a nice shine.

It it a sort of flinty brown colour but it has  swirly bands like an Agate and pink material, probably k feldspar, in the lines. The outer shell looks flinty, the insides look like Jasper and feldspar.

Pretty, good shine, 8/10, would cut larger next time.
