HP Photosmart 318 Digital Camera C8900A Box Manuals USB Parts Repair Not Working
Vintage HP Photosmart 318 Digital Camera, model C8900A, being sold strictly FOR PARTS OR REPAIR / NOT WORKING.
The camera was previously tested and did power on and work a couple of times, but it subsequently stopped working altogether. It is currently nonfunctional and is being sold as-is for repair, restoration, parts or display.
This is a nice vintage HP camera package that includes the original retail box, documentation/manuals, USB connection cable and wrist strap shown in the photos.
The original box advertises features including 2.3 MP resolution, 2x digital zoom and 8 MB internal flash memory.
FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING.
Camera worked a couple of times during testing but then stopped working completely. The cause of the failure is unknown. No further diagnosis or repair has been performed.
Camera has normal cosmetic wear from age and previous use, including light scratches, scuffs and handling marks. The battery compartment shows visible corrosion/residue on the metal contacts, as pictured. This may or may not be related to the failure, and no guarantee is made regarding repairability.
Original box has noticeable age/storage wear, including creasing, edge wear, discoloration and tape. Paperwork also shows normal age and handling wear.
