Introducing this beautiful vintage Swiss-made Avia mechanical wristwatch dating from approximately the 1970s, featuring a striking textured gold dial and matching gold-tone bracelet.

The beautifully detailed gold dial has a distinctive woven-style textured finish, with applied gold-tone baton hour markers, slim matching hands, centre seconds and a framed date aperture at 3 o'clock. The textured surface catches the light particularly well and gives the watch a strong period appearance.

Inside is a Swiss-made 17 jewel manual wind mechanical movement, clearly marked “SWISS – SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS”.

The watch is currently running and winds and sets correctly. The date function also changes correctly.
