About the Author
Kenichiro Agemizu
Director of the Tokai University Men's Judo Team and Professor of the Martial Arts Department of the Tokai University Faculty of Physical Education.
Born in June 1974, from Kumamoto Prefecture. After attending Yatsushiro Daisan Junior High School and Tokai University Sagami High School, he went on to Tokai University, and after graduating, went on to the same university's graduate school, and belonged to Sogo Security Co., Ltd. During his active career, he was active as a heavyweight athlete. After retiring as an active player, he studied abroad at Idaho State University in the United States.
From the first year of his appointment to 2014, he led the judo club to seven straight victories in the All Japan Student Judo Tournament. In addition, he has trained many male and female Olympians and medalists, such as Riki Nakaya, Mashu Baker, Naohisa Takafuji, Ryunosuke Haga, Soichi Hashimoto, and Wolf Aron, and has demonstrated outstanding leadership.
