Its versatile 17mm focal length makes it ideal for street photography, travel, landscapes, interiors, food shots, and video, allowing you to capture both your subject and the surrounding atmosphere in one frame.

With a bright F1.8 maximum aperture, this lens performs well in low light and helps create a natural, pleasing background blur while preserving the immersive perspective of a wide-angle lens. It is a practical choice for creators who want both portability and expressive image rendering.

The optical design features 14 elements in 10 groups, including 2 ED elements and 3 high-index elements, helping reduce chromatic aberration, color fringing, and purple fringing while maintaining crisp detail and natural color reproduction.

A stepping motor delivers fast, smooth, and quiet autofocus, making the lens suitable for still photography as well as video recording. Whether you are shooting daily moments or moving subjects, autofocus operation is designed to feel responsive and unobtrusive.

Built for everyday carry, the lens weighs only about 161–178g depending on mount version, with a close focusing distance of 0.18m for more flexible close-up composition. It also supports 52mm filters, comes with a metal lens hood, and includes a rear cap with USB Type-C port for firmware updates.
