The Hudson Bay axe has been cutting firewood, clearing trail and setting camp since before anyone called it "bushcraft." Ours keeps the original geometry — wide curved edge, narrow throat — because that shape still works better than anything designed since.

The head is high carbon steel, fitted to a straight American hickory handle. Hickory bends before it breaks — the same reason it's been the handle of choice for axes, hammers and hand tools for two centuries. No fibreglass, no rubber grip, nothing between your hand and the wood.

Comes with a full-grain leather sheath and paracord lanyard, ready to work the day it arrives.
