For sale is a very rare Audionahn AW1251T from the old school days of car audio.
If you were around in the Max Power era, you’ll know exactly the sort of thing this is. Back then car audio was a massive part of the modified car scene. It wasn’t just about having a stereo that played music, it was about the install, the look, the equipment and having something different from everyone else.
The AW1251T is a proper bit of that era and something you just don’t see come up for sale very often.
This is the sort of equipment that would have looked right at home in one of the crazy Max Power builds from the 90s/early 2000s, with the big amps, custom boot builds, fibreglass work, speaker pods and all the rest of it.
Anyone who remembers those days will know how much effort people used to put into their systems. Boots were turned into full-on show pieces and car audio was almost an art form. There was always something bigger, louder or more unusual around the next corner.
That’s what makes things like this worth keeping hold of now.
You can go out and buy brand new speakers and equipment all day long, but you can’t buy the history that comes with an original piece of old-school car audio.
The AW1251T would be ideal for someone putting together a period-correct Max Power style build, restoring an old show car, building a retro system or simply collecting interesting bits from the golden age of car audio.
For me, it’s the nostalgia as much as anything. Seeing equipment like this takes you straight back to a time when modified cars were completely different and everyone wanted to push things further.

Some minor blemishes on the face, but I’ve since given it another clean and they’ve cleaned up well it’s really presentable. (Although you’d probably have the subwoofer inverted)
