I Was born free from a redwood tree
Finish your own pipe stem, started off for you by an 91 year-old Apache--Grandfather Rudy Eagle, similar to the one in the picture.
It is 12 inches long, about 1-1/4 inch wide and about to 5/8 inch thick.
We also have different sizes to choose from.
The hole is drilled through.
The grain may be a little different.
This is a solid one-piece stem. It is not two halves glued together.
Rudy did the hard part, now you can finish it up to your taste.
The wood is redwood.
Other lengths are available.
