An ornate silver-plated table lamp featuring detailed embossed lavish foliate and scroll relief, featuring grape and vine leaf motifs along its scalloped, square foundation.
Dating back to the late Victorian or early Edwardian period (circa 1870–1910),
featuring a classic baluster-shaped stem emanating from a splayed, square quatrefoil 4-footed base; dressed with the original wool mix blue baize covering to the underside

The substantial decorative column has a classical baluster profile rising from a wide quatrefoil four-footed base

Column is richly decorated with embossed foliate, scroll, grape and vine-leaf ornament.

Corresponding relief decoration appears around the stem collars and upper sections, producing a particularly attractive architectural progression from the broad base to the glass shade.
