1/72 Screen printed DK Decals decal sheet.

The first intact Focke-Wulf Fw 190A fell into Allied hands on June 23, 1942 when Luftwaffe pilot Oberleutnant Armin Faber mistakenly landed his Fw 190A-3 (Werknummer 135313) at RAF Pembrey in South Wales after becoming disoriented following an air battle. 

The aircraft was allocated RAF Serial Number MP499 and repainted in RAF colours with high visibility yellow lower surfaces.

Trejtnar had been in combat with Faber earlier that day and was shot down. Trejtnar parachuted to safety, though he had suffered combat wounds and broke a leg on landing. He had 6 months of recovery before returning to 310 Squadron.
