US Navy submarine presentation plaque featuring a detailed dolphin and submarine design mounted on a wood plaque.

The plaque is personalized to Robert A. Mirick, Capt. VSN and commemorates his designation as an Honorary Submariner by the Los Angeles/Pasadena Base Submarine Veterans and Sub Vets WWII. The plaque also identifies the Commanding Officer, Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach, CA.

The dolphins appear to be gold-tone molded resin/composite. The wood plaque has a rich, dark finish and the original engraved metal plates are attached.
