Samuel Marti (S. Marti et Cie) was a renowned 19th-century French clockmaker based in Paris (active circa 1841–1910+) often recognized by a stamped medallion on the movement backplate mentioning "Medaille de Bronze" or "Medaille d'Or 1900". They frequently collaborated with makers like Japy Frères, and their movements are known for high-quality, 8-day, pendulum-regulated mechanisms, often found in black slate or marble,or bronze

This exquisite clock has been dismantled and ultrasonic cleaned including Ormulu case also movement has been oiled.

Please note this is original colour of the Ormulu case not painted whatsoever just a nice clean clock

And suspension spring has been replaced so the movement stamped by S Marti a Paris and by exhibition ooze stamp

Overall very good condition for its age and quality of this clock speak for its self

The clock striking number of hours at the full hour and once at the passing half hour on the bell
