Bubbles in a Murano glass bowl are likely a result of either the bullicante technique, where air is intentionally trapped to create a controlled pattern of bubbles, or from the natural imperfections of handmade glass. While a perfect, machine-made piece would have no bubbles, the presence of small, natural air bubbles is a sign of authentic, hand-blown Murano glass, as opposed to mass-produced items.
