This is a true vintage Pete Jackson gear drive and timing cover for Big Block Chevy 396 ,427, and 454 engines. This just came out of the estate of a life long hot rodder. The cover looks to be dated 10-70 on the inside. I imagine this cover and gear drive set have been in cool dry storage since near new. These parts were very expensive when newso not many were made and even fewer survive. Don't miss this awesome find.
This timing cover and gear drive are in very good original condition as shown. The timing cover has no breaks, repairs, or modifications. I have never seen another like this one and was not able to find one on the internet either. The gear drive looks to e in great shape and I'm not sure it was ever used. It looks complete less the bolts that attach the gear to the cam. I wouldn't be surprised if I never see a timing cover like this one again. Don't miss this amazing find.
