This  has a 2.25 inch diameter with no condition issues. In October the Illini met the eventual Rose Bowl winners, the Golden Gophers of Minnesota. They were on their way to an 8 - 2 record and number 6 in the final polls. They beat Illinois 33 to 0. Ouch !   Ohio State won the Big 10 title but declined the Rose Bowl invitation.
