Description

A beautiful antique Harrach Bohemian art glass champagne coupe, produced in rich green glass with elaborate gilt and enamel decoration.

The substantial rounded bowl is raised on a slender green stem and broad circular foot. The bowl is decorated with an ornate repeating geometric design enhanced with gold gilding and white enamel floral and foliate detailing.

The generous proportions are characteristic of the larger champagne coupe forms produced during the period, rather than a traditional tazza.

A highly decorative piece of historic Bohemian glass and an excellent addition to a Harrach, antique glass or European decorative arts collection.
