This flywheel is in very good original condition as shown. It was installed on a 1962 Impala along with a brand new Autogear Muncie trans and new Hurst shifter. The Impala was used very little and sold to someone who wanted to add hydraulics to the suspension. From what I understand, you really want an automatic in a bouncing car with hydraulics since the manual transmission is tought to operate when the car is bouncing up and down. The Auto Gear Muncie along with this flywheel and near new Hurst shifter were all removed to make way for an automatic. This flywheel is in very good shape with few miles. The surface has some light heat marks from use with no heat checking or other issues. All threads are good. the ring gear is very nice. This is simply a very nice SFI billet steel flywheel that has seen little use and is ready to use. Don't Miss It.
