Zentiva's Batrafen is a medicinal varnish that is specially developed for the treatment of fungal nail infections. The active substance ciclopirox penetrates the nail plate and reaches the fungal pathogen for at least 48 hours after application.
Method of application:
During the first month, the varnish is applied in a thin layer every other day, during the second month at least 2 times a week, and during the third - once a week. Read the leaflet before use.
Ingredients:
Ciclopirox (ciclopirox) ● Poly (butyl hydrogen maleate, methoxyethylene) (1:1) ● Ethyl acetate ● 2-propanol.

1. What is Batrafen and what is it used for
Batrafen medicated nail polish is specially developed for the treatment of fungal nail infections. The active substance ciclopirox penetrates the nail plate and reaches the fungal pathogen for at least 48 hours after application. Ciclopirox has fungicidal action against all pathogens that cause fungal nail infections.
2. Before using Batrafen
Do not use Batrafen
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients of Batrafen.
Batrafen polish should not be used in children.
Take special care when using Batrafen
Do not allow Batrafen polish to get into the eyes.
Additional hygiene measures recommended by the doctor must be strictly followed.
After applying the medicine, wash your hands thoroughly.
During the entire period of application, the varnish should be removed once a week with alcohol swabs.
In doing so, as much of the changed nail as possible should be removed again using one-way files. If the varnish is damaged in the meantime, it is sufficient to apply Batrafen varnish only to the cracked areas.
