Vintage/antique pale green glass bottle or storage jar with original glass stopper/lid.

An attractive old utilitarian glass bottle with embossed lettering around the shoulder including “BIRMINGHAM” and “ENGLAND”.

The glass has a lovely pale aqua/green colour with numerous bubbles, irregularities and manufacturing marks throughout, giving it plenty of character.

Complete with its substantial matching glass stopper/lid, which is often missing from older bottles of this type.

There is age-related wear, scratching, staining and residue– please see the close-up photographs carefully. The stopper also shows age and wear.

I have deliberately not attempted to heavily clean or restore it.
