Research into the sequence of negatives indicates that they were taken at the Kodak 135 Trophy meeting at Thruxton on 9 August 1970, part of the British Formula 3 season.
The roll contains several Formula 3 cars from the same sequence, including Nos. 19, 51, 52 and 54. We have deliberately not attributed No.51 to a particular driver until the original race-number entry list can be positively verified.
